CAREER SUMMARY

Dick Anderson joined the Trammell Crow Co.'s Austin office immediately upon graduation from Southern Methodist University in 1987, and within a year had progressed from an internship to marketing representative. Crow promoted Dick to marketing director of its industrial division in January 1992. Five years after joining the company, Dick and fellow Crow executives Kent Lance and Richard Hill left the firm to form our company at the end of 1992. Dick oversees day-to-day operations on the landlord side of HPI. His tasks range from development to acquisitions and sales to leasing. Though he may be tackling several issues at any given time, Dick is known for his attention to detail and for understanding how those details relate to larger objectives.

Dick serves on the boards of directors for Active Power Inc. (NASDAQ: ACPW), ARC of the Capital Area, NetBotz Inc., and Ballet Austin. He is a former director of Keep Austin Beautiful, and served as an account executive for the United Way.
